The 121st constitutional amendment bill 2014:
For NATIONAL JUDICIAL ACCOUNTABILITY COMMISSION the 121st constitutional amendment bill came. This bill has got assent of President.
This bill amended article 124(2), 127, 128, 217, 222, 224, 224-A, 231 of constitution and institute article 124-A , 124-B, 124-C in it.
According to it now there will be a NJAC constituted (124-A) of six members (CJ of India, two senior judges, law minister, two eminent person nominated), will recommend for appointment of CJ and other judges in honourable Supreme court and High court and it will also recommend for transfer from High courts.
