Preliminary Assesment for Juvenile :
# According to juvenile act 2015 (act 2 of 2016) a preliminary assesment of juvenile is required for heinous offence (offence with minimum punishment of 7 yr.)
# This assesment will be for the child of age 16 yr and above.
# Assesment will be to draw his mental and physical capacity to commit such offence.
# Juvenile board may take assistance of the expert for this.
# This assesment will be disposed of within a period of 3 months from his first production before J.J.B.
# Board may order after assesment that where the case wil be proceed, either before the Board for inquiry or before the Children's Court for trial.
# Order passed by the Board is appealable before the Court of Sessions u/s 101(2).
